Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley may be at odds on recent episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But surprisingly enough, they recently enjoyed a “nice” reunion with one another.
As she explained why she has not yet visited estranged husband Mauricio Umansky‘s new condo, which he moved into in May, after this week’s episode of her Bravo show, Kyle, 55, attended an event in Los Angeles, where she revealed that she and Dorit, 48, along with Erika Jayne, 53, attended her sister Kathy Hilton‘s pajama party together at the end of last month.
“Erika and I were shooting a commercial together, and so Erika was at my house, and Dorit lives right up the street from me. So we were all supposed to go to Kathy’s, so then Erika’s like, ‘Well, Dorit, she’s wanting to know when we’re leaving.’ And I said, ‘Well, I can just pick her up and we can go together,’” Kyle recalled during an interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, via Instagram. “So we went together the three of us.”
According to Kyle, who has been featured in a number of heated moments with Dorit throughout season 14, getting back together with her longtime friend was “really nice.”
“I was just checking in on her and Jagger because he was just in the hospital. So it was actually very nice. It felt nice that we walked in, the three of us, and I felt like we were, like, sticking together, the three of us, the whole night. So I think it was just what the doctor ordered, maybe,” she suspected.
During another interview this week, Kyle noted that while she and Mauricio, 54, have remained close post-split, she still hasn’t been to his new home.
“I have yet to go to his place. He’s invited me a number of times, it just hasn’t worked out yet, not for any particular reason,” she explained on the December 3 episode of the RHOBH: After Show. “I’ve been still hosting the Jewish holiday dinners with his family … We’re just family … He’s still in the same place and he comes to visit.”
As for Mauricio’s decision to buy furniture for his new place, Kyle admitted to being taken aback.
“He’s in real estate. You can have places staged. I assumed he would have it staged or he would find someplace that already had furniture,” she shared. “He said, ‘I need to do this, and I’m gonna move out for six months, and then we’ll figure it out,’ take it from there type of thing. And then all of a sudden he was, like, buying stuff. I’m like, ‘You’re buying another bed and another this,’ I was like, ‘This doesn’t feel like, this feels like you went into that thinking this is [permanent].’”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
