Rihanna has gotten her endorsement in just in time for the US presidential election.
Voting closed in the US at 10AM AEDT, with Rihanna taking to Instagram just hours beforehand to share a tongue-in-cheek video announcing her endorsement for Vice President Kamala Harris.
The Diamonds singer isn't able to vote due to being a Barbadian citizen, however her two sons, RZA and Riot, whom she shares with A$AP Rocky, are both American citizens.

"POV: Me trying to sneak into the polls with my sons passport. #votecauseicant," she captioned a video of her looking out the window of a car.
She captioned the post, "When protecting pussies and firing pussies can happen all in one vote," adding the hashtags #votecauseicant and #TanSuitSeason.
While Rihanna didn't explicitly state her endorsement for Harris, her caption made it clear with references to reproductive rights and the tan suit meme that has plagued the democratic party since Obama's 2014 press conference.

The post is currently sitting at more than 1.3 million likes, with plenty of comments speaking out in support of the Work singer.
However, Rihanna's cheeky endorsement also got some commenters fired up.
"Illegal voting is a crime. Maybe she should be arrested for trying," wrote one commenter, to which Rihanna replied, "Shut up Karen."
Another argued that celebrities shouldn't share endorsements because "they don't know what it's like," with Rihanna chiming in to tell them they "sound goofy af."
"We know exactly what it was like having a sweet ass tax cut," she wrote. "Some of us just care more about the people that didn't benefit from that!"
But Rihanna isn't the only celebrity to share her endorsement for Harris.
Plenty of stars including Jennifer Aniston, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen and even former Republican governor Arnold Schwarzenegger have spoken out in support of the Vice President.

"I'm not here as a celebrity, I'm not here as a politician. I'm here as a mother," Beyoncé said on stage at Harris' October 25 Texas rally.
"A mother who cares deeply about the world my children and all of our children live in, a world where we have the freedom to control our bodies, a world where we're not divided.
"Imagine our daughters growing up seeing what's possible with no ceilings, no limitations," she continued.
"We must vote, and we need you."
