Singer Rita Ora announced the death of her beloved cat as she took to social media to pay tribute to her sweet pet.

The 34-year-old singer revealed her adorable cat, Bruno, passed away. Along with a picture of herself cuddling up to Bruno, she wrote: "RIP to the one family member who always brought us all back together - love you bruniiii - when pets leave they are not gone forever ust simply watching over you from another probably more comfortable place for them."

The musician also shared a snap of Bruno looking comfortable lying down on Rita's luggage. She captioned the post: "He always wanted to come with me when I was packing." Along with another snap of Bruno, the former Masked Singer judge posted: "Love you forever," along with a dove emoji.

Rita ended her tribute with a picture of Bruno lying on her shoulder as the singer beamed at the camera. It comes after the Let You Love Me singer issued a heartfelt message to her famous pals before the Grammy Awards last weekend.

Writing on her Stories ahead of the ceremony to share some words of wisdom, she reassured those who didn't win awards wouldn't 'lose their power'. Rita told her famous friends: "Good luck to all my friends at the Grammys this year you know who you are and make sure you go and F it up. Make me proud! A little power tattoo to remind you all that we all hold power within us. Awards feel nice yes but you are no lesser than if you don't win. It doesn't justify the amazing music you all provided us in 2024! Mwah."

This year's Grammy Award for Album of the Year was won by Beyonce. It marks her first ever album win at the awards and fans were quick to react on social media. Beyonce also won Country Album of the Year as well as best country duo/group performance for "II Most Wanted" with Miley Cyrus.

Other winners from the night included Kendrick Lamar, who took home five gongs for his Drake diss track, Not Like Us. Chappell Roan won Best New Artist and Sabrina Carpenter took home an award for her album Short N' Sweet and her son Espresso. Charli XCX won best dance/electronic album and best dance/pop recording for Von Dutch.

The likes of Shakira, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars, The Beatles, St Vincent, The Rolling Stones, Doechii, SZA and Kacey Musgraves also took home awards on the night.
