Rowan Atkinson says Mr Bean is a 'natural born anarchist'

Rowan Atkinson sparked a major frenzy among fans after he was spotted filming in London’s Piccadilly Circus on Monday (January 3).

The legendary actor was spotted emerging from the station carrying a baby in his arms and looking like his famed confused character, Mr Bean.

As the photo circulated across social media, fans went into overdrive, and speculation about the character’s revival rose.

The star, who first began playing Mr Bean in 1990, was dressed in a blue coat and a grey knitted bobble hat while carrying a large red rucksack and the baby.

Alongside a clip that was shared on Instagram, one fan wrote: “Mr Bean is in action at Piccadilly Circus London.”

And as rumours started to whirl, fans took to the comments with elation as one penned: “Is Christmas coming early?”

“Really missed his shows really good to see him again thanks,” as another remarked: “The legendary ROWAN.” A third shared: “I really wanna see Mr bean in 2025 and how he will navigate life in this era lol.”

Another fan noted, “Instead of teddy, he got a baby,” and a sixth penned, “Bean is back.”

In a second viral clip, the hilarious character is seen pushing a seemingly heavy trolley filled to the top with miscellaneous items, including the baby in the trolley seat.

He could then be seen turning around, as someone behind him was pushing two other similarly full trolleys.

Atkinson was then spotted out of character and appeared to be in between takes as he stopped for a chat with the film crew.

Although Mr Bean’s return has yet to be confirmed, this will follow his 2022 Netflix series Man vs Bee.
