Drag Race fans have slammed "tone deaf" host RuPaul.

The criticism comes after a social media post following The Vivienne's tragic passing. The Vivienne, born James Lee Williams, was confirmed dead at 32 over the weekend, sparking an outpouring of tributes for the drag icon.

RuPaul expressed sorrow, stating: "With a broken heart, I join the entire Drag Race universe in mourning the loss of the Vivienne - an incredibly talented queen and a lovely human being."

However, mere hours after this homage, RuPaul uploaded another Instagram post donning a red wig and lip-syncing to a voiceover. The audio played: "[Name] claims you actually tried to run her over in her car. Is that true?" with a woman responding: "Yeah," followed by the initial speaker asking: "You did?"
