Ryan Reynolds' funny message to Travis and Jason Kelce puts Taylor Swift's fans on alert

Ryan Reynolds, Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce in the same room means a lot of laughs and that's exactly what happened when the iconic actor cameoed on their podcast with a message for Taylor Swift.

The Eras Tour popstar has been dating the Kansas City Chiefs' Travis since around August 2023 so it's no surprise that Reynolds, who stars as the wise-cracking and witty Deadpool, chose to target her with a funny voice message to her boyfriend.

Travis Kelce imitates Elvis Presley on his trip to Las Vegas with the Chiefs

"Hi, it's Ryan Reynolds here for Mint Mobile," Reynolds said via the New Heights podcast. "If you can hear my voice, it means that you're most likely a football fan or a 30-something-year-old woman.

"This podcast has an insane crossover appeal that I'm not totally sure I understand, but I think it's great. Hold on, my producers are trying to get my attention..

"What? Oh, apparently, this podcast is about American football, not the superior sport of Canadian football."

The joke was a nod to Swift's age of 34 and poked fun at the Kelce brothers' podcast for having a very specific audience as they mostly center their discussions around the NFL and the mentality of being a professional footballer.

But Swifties needn't worry. Reynolds has been close with the Eras Tour performer for around a decade through his wife, Blake Lively's close relationship with the billionaire Cruel Summer singer, meaning it's all from a place of love.

And it was well-received by Swift's boyfriend and the ex-Philadelphia Eagles' center, who both laughed at the voice message and expressed their appreciation with Travis calling the actor the "greatest", whilst Jason said the audio was "awesome".

Kelce regrets missing Miami Eras Tour show

The Eras Tour got back underway from October 18-20 for the final instalment of shows before it ends for good in Vancouver in early December.

But there was no sign of Kelce at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami as he was locked into Chiefs commitments as they faced, and defeated, the San Francisco 49ers in California on Sunday. October 20 and he was sad to miss out.

"I had, all the, FOMO in the world," Kelce said of missing the return of the Eras Tour. "With the entire family and a lot of our friends being there.

"They were saying the same thing that you're saying. The Miami Stadium was just on another level. Incredible. I wish I was there."
