Sabrina Carpenter’s got style, she’s got flair.

On Tuesday, the “Espresso” singer, 25, stepped out in New York City, clad in an animal print look that came straight out of Fran Fine’s iconic closet.

En route to “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” Carpenter was all cocooned in a vintage Lillie Rubin black set with a leopard-printed fur collar and cuffs.

Fran, played by actress Fran Drescher in “The Nanny,” famously donned the same look — save for a slight difference in the leopard print — from the women’s clothing store on the show’s pilot episode in 1993.

True to form, the pop star shorted the skirt to ultra-tiny lengths and teamed the leg-baring outfit with sky-high platform heels, sheer tights and an anklet ($398 $318) from Ring Concierge with an adorable diamond heart charm ($198 $158).

She toted around a small black briefcase-shaped bag in another nod to the aforementioned nineties character, who carried a pink Shades of the Orient Cosmetics style during the episode when she turned up at the Sheffield home to sell makeup.

The Grammy-nominated musician didn’t let fans down as she donned the matching beret while exiting the building after the show wrapped up.

In 2020, Drescher gave her opinion on the iconic look in Vogue’s Life in Looks series.

“This, I think, is the definitive nanny-looking costume,” she said in a video. “This is what kind of created the style of the flashy girl from Flushing,” she continued, referring to her character’s New York-based nickname.

“Definetly sexy but not trashy, and it had to have a sweetness to it because she was a nanny, always with a little zhuzh.”

Fans were obsessed with the cosplay moment, with one tweeting, “Sabrina in her Fran Fine era is everything to me.”

“SHE KNOWS HER DIVAS,” another said while a third declared the outfit, “very on brand actually.”

One cheered on her new fashion inspiration, writing, “If there is someone who can wear all of Fran’s outfits, that’s Sabrina 💋 I can see her wearing them all! There are some looks that are crazy! Get the whole closet, girl!”

A fan wrote, “cheetahlicious!! she looks so good😭” and another said “she looks so damn good and she knows it.”

Others drew parallels between Carpenter and Fran’s personal lives after the news that the pop star split from boyfriend of one year, Barry Keoghan, amid cheating rumors.

One savagely wrote, “Fran Fine was dating a man way below her league who cheated on her with a carbon copy of her omfg Sabrina your mind.” Another predicted, “Oh this is her revenge tour. Catch her next in Princess Diana inspired looks.”

Fran seems to be one of Carpenter’s top style icons, as she’s channeled the character before.

For the MTV Video Music Awards this year, the 25-year-old hit the red carpet in a vintage 1991 Bob Mackie-designed silver beaded gown, which Fran donned on Season 1 Episode 20.

The scene-stealing number was originally designed for Madonna, who wore it at the Oscars the same year.

“if i had a nickel for every time sabrina wore the same thing as fran fine i’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s iconic that it happened twice,” one person tweeted.

Carpenter is ending 2024 with a jam-packed schedule, as she’s been promoting her Netflix holiday special, “A Nonsense Christmas With Sabrina Carpenter,” which dropped on Dec. 6.

She pulled out another vintage look — a furry black and white Chanel number that certainly could have been part of Fine’s wardrobe — for the red carpet premiere of the sassy special.

We can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store for the pop star.
