Carr said, "I've had so many teammates over the years, and he's like the one dude that didn't get along with me and I don't know what I did to him. I don't know why he feels that way. I'm sorry for whatever he's dealing with to make him feel like he's got to do that. I don't know. But he's never called me during any of this. My phone number has never changed. I've in fact called him on different occasions. Just to try."

In various social media posts, Thomas said of Carr:

"Dude tried to lie and say I was jealous of them making Chris WR1 whole time he can't even get him a decent ball. He need his ass whooped."

"They fired all them coaches trying to cover his flaws up he still doing the same s***."

"That year his buddy went 1st team all pro in 2022 he needed 180 targets just to catch 100 passes. He is ass."

In his post-game remarks, Carr continued, "Sometimes you can try as hard as you want, and it just doesn't work out. And that's OK, so I don't know why he feels any type of way. I didn't see it. I won't see it. Because I always ignore everything, good and bad. I try to ignore everything. It's unfortunate. Especially coming from a player like that. But I wish him the best. I hope he gets on a team and does what he wants to do and loves it."

The New Orleans Saints have fired head coach Dennis Allen following their seventh consecutive loss on Sunday, as reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter. Special teams coordinator Darren Rizzi has been named the interim coach.

The Saints started the season strong, winning their first two games, but have struggled since, with their latest defeat coming against the Carolina Panthers in a close 23-22 game. They scored an average of 45.5 points in their first two games but have only averaged 16.6 points in the last seven.

"I'm going to keep coming in every day and fighting my ass off just like I have every single day that I've been here," Allen said on Sunday when asked about his job security.

This marks the first midseason firing for the Saints since Tom Benson purchased the team in 1985. The last in-season firing occurred in 1980 when Dick Nolan was dismissed after starting 0-12 in his third season. The team also made a coaching change in 1996 when Jim Mora resigned after a 2-6 start, with Rick Venturi taking over and finishing 1-7.
