Samsung Galaxy A56 to ship with Exynos SoC: Leaks

Samsung Unpacked event is due in January as we all know. And now, the latest rumors suggest that the South Korean tech giant is also working on Samsung Galaxy A56 and the device could soon see the light. The smartphone has been pretty recently spotted on China’s TENAA listing. It carries SM-A5660 as the model number according to the listing. It has also been mentioned there that the smartphone will be powered by a 4905mAh battery that will be marketed as a 5000mAh battery.

Apart from the TENAA listing, the images of the device were also shared in the past. The CAD renders suggest that it will get three circular camera cutouts at the rear panel arranged in a vertical manner confined in an oval shaped camera module. The circular flash LED will be located next to the camera island of the device. The power button and volume rockers will be placed on the right spine.

Rumors have it that the handset will be shipped with an FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display clubbed with 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, it may run on Samsung’s own Exynos 1580 processor. It is being said that the phone will have two RAM options including 8GB and 12GB. We can also get to see two storage options including 128GB and 256GB.

The device will sport a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary snapper, a 12MP secondary snapper, and a 5MP tertiary snapper. At the front, we may get to see a 12MP sensor to capture selfies and attend video calls. As for the pricing of the smartphone, leaks in the past mentioned that it will be priced somewhere around EUR 439 which roughly converts to Rs 39,000.
