Samsung Galaxy S25+ Expected to Launch with Snapdragon 8 Elite rather than Exynos 2500 benchmark

Samsung is expected to unveil its Galaxy s25+ in 2025. The smartphone is expected to launch with three models, including vanilla, Plus, and Ultra. Several leaks and rumors hint at the specifications of the upcoming smartphones. Galaxy S25+ was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking site with key details.

The much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S25+ European variant was spotted on Geekbench with model number SM-S936B with a single-core score of 2,359 and a multi-core score of 8,141. The motherboard section in Geekbenching includes the S5E9955 chip, which is linked to the Exynos 2500 processor.

However, the tech giant could unveil with Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. As per reports, it could get a 10.72GB of RAM, translates to 12GB. Nevertheless, the mention of Exynos chipset means there could at least be the one variant with Exynos in any one of the region.

Samsung Galaxy S25+ could launch with 4,755mAhbattery, same as in Galaxy S24+. However, the vanilla model could have 4,000mAh battery.It might come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of base onboard storage support. The smartphone will reportedly ship 6.65-inch screen and will measure 158.4 x 75.7 x 7.3mm in size.

If Galaxy S25+ will launch with Exynos 2500 chipset then it could use Xclipse 950 GPU based on AMD’s RDNA architecture. It is expected to ship with Vulkan 1.3 API for graphics.
