Samsung Galaxy S25 series could make a debut in the global market via the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event that is scheduled to be held on January 22, 2025. The lineup will most probably bring three phones – Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, rumors related to a fourth variant from the series – Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim, have been doing to rounds of the internet for a long time now. And the device has been spotted on Geekbench pretty recently hinting towards its imminent launch.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim listing details
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim carries model number SM-S937U according to the Geekbench listing. It has also been mentioned that the smartphone brings a motherboard with ‘Sun’ as a codename that will be an octa-core processor with six cores. Expectations are that the chipset is none other than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. And it makes sense because all other devices from the series will get the Snapdragon flagship processor.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim will include 12GB RAM along with decent storage space. It will operate on the Samsung One UI 7 based on the Android 15 operating system. There is not a lot of information available related to the smartphone as of now. Speculations are that we will get to know more about the same in the Unpacked event.
Previous reports related to the smartphone suggested that the Slim variant from the Galaxy S25 series will be launched in the market a few months after the Unpacked event. However, the latest appearance of the device on Geekbench could be a signal that it is going to be the fourth device and the newest member of the lineup making its debut alongside the other three phones.
