The smell of the bake is enough to make someone hungry (Image: Getty)
There’s no better smell throughout the home than someone baking. Whether it is cakes, bread or anything sweet, Brits can't get enough of it.
This recipe, which comes from Camp Coffee, serves eight people and is easy to make. The dish is perfect for getting the little ones involved and can be enjoyed with a cup of tea.
A preparation time of 15 minutes and 30 minutes of cooling time is required. However, it only takes 15 to 20 minutes to bake.
Even better, there aren't many ingredients or steps cooks need to do for the bake.
According to Camp Coffee’s website, they add a secret ingredient of walnuts for a “satisfying crunch” to the coffee cookies.

Method:
Firstly, preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas Mark 5. Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Next, sift the flour, baking powder and salt together, and then set aside.
Beat the butter and sugar together until light. Add the coffee, flour and walnuts into the butter mixture and mix well. Roll the dough in cling film to make a log and chill for 30 minutes.
Once chilled, remove the cling film, slice the dough into eight pieces and place onto the lined baking tray. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until cooked. Wait for them to cool and get ready to serve.
