Saweetie Says She Caught Ex-Boyfriend Cheating Through His Assistant's Group Chat

Saweetie has opened up about the time she found out an ex-boyfriend was cheating on her with several other women.

During her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Saweetie was asked what was the worst way she found out a boyfriend was cheating. According to the Bay Area native, it was on New Year's Eve in a hotel room where she received a phone call from a platonic male friend. Her boyfriend at the time misinterpreted the phone call and accused her of cheating.

To prove he was committed, the ex-boyfriend gave Saweetie the passcode to his phone to show there was nothing to hide. Saweetie went through the phone while her ex was sleeping and found some troubling information in a group chat.

"This man had been playing me the whole time. But I knew it was a sickness because it was all types of women," she said. "I went to the assistant group chat. I went to the assistant messages cause you know the assistant sets up everything for like the man. I was typing in keywords so it was pulling up all the receipts and I remember I had got so sick but then so numb that I didn't care because it wasn't like one person. You're not obsessing over one person. You have a sickness."

It's unclear who Saweetie was speaking of, some have speculated she was talking about Quavo, who she dated between 2018 and 2021. After they broke up, rumors swirled that had cheated on her. The only thing Saweetie confirmed was that she experienced "too much betrayal and hurt" throughout their relationship.

"I'm single. I've endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character," she tweeted after the breakup. "Presents don't band-aid scars, and the love isn't real when the intimacy is given to other women."
