Scott Eastwood has given fans an update on how his 94-year-old father, Clint Eastwood, is doing.
“He’s good. He’s doing good,” Eastwood, 38, told People Magazine of the iconic actor. “He’s a survivor, a trouper.”
Clint Eastwood suffered a heartbreaking loss six months ago when his longtime girlfriend Christine Sandera, 61, died of a heart attack, People reported.

“It’s in our blood. You don’t complain. You don’t whine. You just do,” he told People.
According to Fox News, Eastwood and Sandera were together for 10 years when she died in July.
Scott Eastwood told People that his father “was born coming out of the Great Depression, and then he was young during World War II. He saw a lot of struggle.”
“There is no room for complaining,” he added to People Magazine. He also said that his father inspired him to go into acting. “He’s the reason I’m in this industry. It’s like anybody. If your dad’s a carpenter, maybe you’d become a carpenter,” he told People.
Scott Eastwood, an actor and model, is active on Instagram.
According to People Magazine, Clint Eastwood has eight kids. Scott is one of his two sons, People reported. According to People, Scott’s mom is a flight attendant named Jacelyn Reeves.
“My dad was always super-active and got me in the gym at a young age,” he told People in 2015. “He wanted me to be health-conscious. Healthy body, healthy mind; that’s what he preached to me.”
He added in that interview, “My dad was pretty old school. I’ve had a job since I can remember and it’s not like he was like, ‘Hey, what kind of car do you want?’ My first car was a ’91 Ford Crown Victoria that was $1,000. And I had to buy every car after that. I had to do it all.”

“Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much,” he told THR.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, they had a largely private relationship out of the spotlight. Sandera met Eastwood while “working as a hostess at Eastwood’s Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California,” THR reported.
She accompanied Eastwood to the 2015 Academy Awards, according to THR.
