The legal woes of Sean 'Diddy' Combs continue to mount as three more people have sued the star for rape.
The 55-year-old musician is currently in jail awaiting trial following his arrest on Monday 16 September where he was charged with racketeering, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution - all of which he has plead not guilty to. Since his arrest, a number of people represented by Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee have accused the star of abusing them in the 1990s and early 2000s - accusations which Combs has vehemently denied.
On Thursday, fresh claims emerged against Combs with three unnamed individuals claiming he drugged and raped them - more recently than the other accusations the star is facing. The three unnamed individuals are suing the star in the state of New York and they are not being represented by Buzbee.
The lawsuits have been filed individually, but all by the same lawyer and it has been reported that there are similarities, but with "nuanced" differences. When contacted for comment by the Mirror, Combs's legal team rejected the new claims - saying: “These complaints are full of lies. We will prove them false and seek sanctions against every unethical lawyer who filed fictional claims against him.”

Willy Sanjuan/Invision/AP)TMZ broke the claims, writing: "[There are] multiple new lawsuits, all filed by the same New York-based attorney (not Tony Buzbee) ... with the unnamed plaintiffs all claiming Diddy drugged and then sodomized them - with the earliest claim dating back to 2019."
The report continued: "[The alleged victims say] they went to party with Puffy and his crew - two claiming they went to hotels with him and one claiming they were raped at his residence in the Hamptons. All three accusers say they accepted alcoholic beverages from Diddy ... before claiming they quickly became disoriented and passed out -- only coming to when Diddy was 'sodomizing' them."
The report goes on to claim one of the alleged victims was given $2,500 (£1,960) following the alleged attack - and also claims the incident was filmed. The other two did not mention receiving any money. While all three are said to have held back reporting the alleged crime out of "fear and humiliation".
Combs's legal team has hit back at the accusations in the past - with his lawyer stating: “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
This month, the allegations around Combs expanded to engulf chart-topping rap star Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, who has been accused of raping a 13-year-old alongside Combs in 2000. Carter furiously denied the claim which has been filed as a civil case in Texas, saying the allegations will impact his family life, and stating: "It is unfair to have to try to understand inexplicable degrees of malice meant to destroy families and human spirit. My heart and support goes out to true victims in the world, who have to watch how their life story is dressed in costume for profitability by this ambulance chaser in a cheap suit."
