Erika Fox was a Kerry-based fashion blogger under the name ‘Retro Flame’ when she moved to Manhattan in 2014 to pursue her career as a social media manager. Like all good American dream tales, Erika had humble beginnings which started in a tiny apartment that she had to climb five flights of stairs to reach and didn’t have room for a TV.
Within two years of moving stateside, Erika’s blog had grown successful enough she could quit her day job to focus on her own career. Now, ten years on, Erika is living her best life in her dream high rise apartment in the Upper East Side with childhood sweetheart, Tommy O’Callaghan.
With floor-to-ceiling windows and a panoramic view of the bustling city, the luxurious apartment is a far cry from her former digs and ‘millennial pink’ aesthetic.
