The White House is not only where the President of America conducts business, it is also the place they call home during their time in office.

Ever since Jackie Kennedy gave a famous tour of inside the White House in 1962, the general public have been interested in the interiors, especially as presidents and their families over the years have added their own personal touches.

The six-storey building currently has 132 rooms, 35 bathrooms, 28 fireplaces, eight staircases, two swimming pools, a tennis court, and three elevators.

As well as the West Wing and the Oval Office, amongst many other offices where work is carried out, there is also the president's private living quarters, 18 acres of gardens, a kitchen equipped to serve over 1000 guests and many dining rooms.
