Ah, Selling the City. From expensive properties we will never be able to afford to catfights, drama and celebrity gossip, it's a tried and tested recipe to cure the January blues.

If, like us, you've already binged all eight episodes, then you will know the show ends with a dramatic confrontation between Abigail 'Abi' Godfrey and Jade Chan, after weeks of tension between the pair. It culminated with a cliff-hanger that is begging for a second season. Watch this space.

The party season finale saw Abi attempt to have a private word with Jade while at the bar, but Jade refused to talk with her. Abi then started talking loudly about how she had heard the things Jade had said about her and their colleagues. She claimed she wanted to move past the conflict in a 'positive manner.' When the pair spoke, Abi told Jade that she felt she was being a different person off camera.

The explosive final episode saw Jade appear to be caught off-guard by the confrontation, telling Eleonora Srugoto 'Stop this right now.' Jade even went on to tell the camera 'If any of this sh*t f*cking airs, I will sue every single one of your *sses.'

Now, Eleonora has admitted that she, and other members of the cast, knew that the show's final confrontation was coming. In an interview shared on her Instagram, Eleonora is asked 'did you have any idea that some sort of confrontation was going to be happening?' to which she replies 'yes, and so did Jade.'

The interviewer asks Eleonora if this is the reason Jade was 'so closed off' to talking to Abi. In response, Eleanor said: 'I think so. Abi had already told me this had happened - it happened off camera. Jade invited Abby to her house [...] they all chatted.' She continued 'Abi just felt that whatever her feelings were from that conversation, was that Jade was very different than how she was presenting herself when we were filming.'

Eleonora says she told Abi not to bring it up, saying 'if I don't care then you shouldn't care,' but added that Jade wanted to raise the issue. Eleonora says she told Jade 'many times' that Abi probably was going to confront her. 'So I think we all knew. And so it was really like the last moment, it was the end of the night, it was a long night. And Abi wanted to bring it up,' she said.

If you need to recap on the drama, then listen up. Throughout the season, there appeared to be a growing rift between Abi and Jade. This all started in the first episode, when Abi explained she was 'booted' from a lunch Jade had invited some of her colleagues too. There was also a moment where Jade claimed Abi said she was thirsty, relaying to her friends 'as if you’re Beyoncé and I’m a f*cking fan.' She later spoke to Jade about this, saying 'I don’t think I’m really your favourite right now.' This culminated at the end of the season when Abi wanted to address Jade's comments about the other people in the agency.

The interview on Eleonora's Instagram has divided fans in the comments. Some think that the bar was the wrong place for Abi to bring up the conflict, with one user writing 'I know it gives drama but it kind of ruined a positive event.' Another user wrote 'I thought out was weird for Abi to want to confront Jade on camera about an off camera conversation.' Others praised the interaction, with one user writing 'the finale was the best!!'

Jade later clarified that she does not plan to pursue legal action. 'No, I am not taking legal action,' she told US Weekly. 'I actually want to thank the producers for their beautiful way of still telling that story and showcasing the spiciness of that heated moment.' Although Jade admitted she was upset at first, she appreciated that the selective editing left out the more damaging aspects of her conflict with Abi.

Ok, one thing for sure is that we need an update on this ASAP. Season two can't come soon enough.
