Sex Pistols to release three live albums from their 1978 U.S. tour

Shortly after their return to the stage with Frank Carter as vocalist, Sex Pistols are preparing for the release of three live albums from their legendary 1978 US tour

In these records we will be able to enjoy the concerts that the band performed in Georgia, Texas and California during their 'Live in the USA 1978' tour, in which they presented their iconic album 'Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols', released in 1977.

In them, the group captivated the American public with songs such as 'God Save the Queen', 'Bodies' or 'Anarchy in the UK', the latter with the lyrics changed to refer to the American country ('Anarchy in the USA').

Three albums from three concerts on their US tour

The shows that can be relived on the albums were the last of the band's first era until their return in 1996: at South East Music Hall in Atlanta on January 5, Longhorns Ballroom in Dallas on January 10 and Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco on January 14.

It was during this last concert that Johnny Rotten ended up addressing the audience by asking: "Have you ever had the feeling that you've been cheated? Good night". The singer would leave the band just a few days later.
