Shein is returning to the UK this December with the third instalment of its Christmas bus tour. The pink and red-clad bus will make stops at fourteen major cities across the UK, including Manchester, Liverpool and Birmingham, where customers can hop aboard to interact with festive fashion.
The Chinese-founded company, which is now based in Singapore, has disrupted the fast-fashion industry by shipping cheap clothes directly from factories in China to UK shoppers. Amid reports it is set to list on the London Stock Exchange, Shein is expanding its presence in UK with biggest Chrtistmas bus tour to date. This year also marks the first time the online-exclusive retailer is running an experience-led activation in Scotland, adding Edinburgh to the city lineup due to popular demand. Visiting a range of locations throughout the first two weeks of December, guests will be invited on board to enjoy an exclusive preview of Shein’s Christmas collections spanning accessories, beauty and home.
On board, they will also experience a variety of festive treats, including complimentary manicures, photo opportunities and personalised hair bows. Customers will also have the chance to win additional prizes, such as winter essentials, hair accessories, phone cases, and beauty products, by trying their luck with the spin-the-wheel game and claw grabber machine. Ensuring all guests get the special treatment, each will be given a free surprise goodie bag from the exclusive gifting station. Shein’s Christmas bus schedule is as follows: Earlier this month, Shein revealed its sales surpassed £1.5 billion in the UK last year as the fast-fashion retailer continues to cash in on trends and draw in shoppers with low-cost items. Shein’s UK business generated revenues of £1.55 billion over 2023, up from £1.12 billion the prior year.
