Shep Rose and Teddi Mellencamp surprisingly went to high school together. The Southern Charm star and the Two Ts In A Pod cohost had a surprising friendship during their teenage years. And it made enough of an impact that the reality TV stars can fondly reminisce about it.
Given Shep’s current reputation as a lothario, it makes sense that the Southern Charm OG would comment on whether he and Teddi had any romantic connection back in the day. However, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum denied any hook-up between herself and Shep.
Teddi Mellencamp called Shep Rose “a nice guy” in high school
Shep appeared on the December 27 episode of the Two T’s In A Pod podcast. Tamra Judge was on hand to co-host and it was revealed that she believed Teddi and Shep hooked up while in high school.
Shep asked, “Did we kiss once Teddi?”
Teddi decidedly responded, “No!”
The Southern Charm then suggested that the Bravolebrities did share a kiss, but there was no physical contact otherwise.
“No, okay we definitely didn’t go any further than a kiss,” Shep dished.
Theirs was a warm dynamic back in high school. Teddi said Shep unloaded on his romantic issues to her often. The accountability coach called him “a nice guy then,” suggesting that Shep was not “a player” in his teenage years.
“I didn’t have a whole lot of confidence in the female world. I was really into sports,” Shep agreed.
In a 2018 interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish, Teddi revealed that she and Shep “both lived in Sea Pines.” Sea Pines is located in Hilton Head, South Carolina. She spoke at the time about the friendship “throughout [their] childhoods.” The podcast host said Shep didn’t change much since his school days.
According to Teddi, Shep has “always kind of been his same funny, goofy, honest self, and everybody loves Shep for it.” She added, “He was one of my best guy friends.”
