SIR Elton John put on a brave face as he mingled with his famous mates at a London afterparty after revealing he'd lost his sight.
The Rocket Man hitmaker, 77, told the crowds at his new musical, The Devil Wears Prada, of his medical condition and admitted he "couldn't see the stage".
It came just days after Sir Elton admitted he had gone blind in his right eye, and was struggling to see and read.
On Sunday night, the Tiny Dancer singer headed to the London premiere of the stage show - adapted from the hit movie - accompanied by the likes of stars including Emily In Paris star Lily Collins.
Sir Elton has penned the songs for the theatre version and appeared eager to catch up with his pals after.
He was seen posing for a picture with Liz Hurley and her son Damien at the charity gala night after party in support of the Elton John Aids Foundation.
Held at the British Museum in London, Sir Elton was seen giving actress Liz a cuddle before they were joined by his husband David Furnish and Damien for another sweet snap.

He donned a black suit paired with red rimmed glasses and scarlet shoes.
His red patterned shirt added a further pop of colour at the lavish event.
Sir Elton was seen beaming as he joined Dame Zandra Rhodes, Giles Martin, Andrew Watt, Luke Evans and Fran Tomas for a series of snaps on a huge sofa.

He was supported by his mates as his new project was revealed.
The new musical adaptation of The Devil Wears Prada is based on the blockbuster 2006 film and Lauren Weisberger’s bestselling novel.
The stage play, which features songs by the music legend, promises to bring the story of aspiring journalist Andy Sachs and her terrifying boss Miranda Priestly to life in a fresh and fabulous way.
Set against a backdrop of glitz and glamour, the musical follows Andy as she navigates the impossible demands of Runway magazine and its iconic editor-in-chief Miranda.

Chart superstar Sir Elton told celebrities who packed the London audience at the event of his current medical situation in a candid speech.
He said: "As some of you may know I have had issues and now I have lost my sight.
"I haven't been able to see the performance but I have enjoyed it."
He continued with a tribute to his supportive hubby David, 62, saying: "To my husband who’s been my rock because I haven’t been able to come to many of the previews...
"It’s hard for me to see it but I love to hear it and it sounded good tonight. Thank you for coming!"
Elton contracted an infection over the summer and now confesses that he’s struggling to be productive.
