Andrea Philips, from Airtasker’s lifestyle editorial team, has shared a variety of cola cleaning hacks “you need to try” this Christmas.
Cola can be purchased from a variety of supermarkets such as Aldi for as little as 49p. The expert said: “Because of its low, acidic pH level, cola is comparable to fresh lemon juice and vinegar.
“This means that instead of ingesting the sweet liquid, you could follow our cola cleaning hacks and use it as a cost-effective means for house cleaning.
“So, next time you find yourself facing a tough cleaning challenge, consider reaching for a bottle of cola. It’s a great example of how everyday items can serve multiple purposes beyond their original intended use."
