The "Griselda" star, 52, made waves during Foster's acceptance of the Best Actress in a Miniseries or Motion Picture-Television award for her performance in HBO's True Detective: Night Country.

When Foster, 62, took the stage to accept her trophy, Vergara jumped from her seat and jokingly yelled, "No! No! Not again!"

The lighthearted outburst drew laughter from the audience, and Foster responded with an understanding smile, saying, "I know." Vergara added, "Give me one!"-a playful plea that highlighted her long-running award drought.

Foster, unfazed, acknowledged Vergara in her speech.

"The greatest thing about being this age and being in this time is having a community of all these people, especially you, Sofia," she said, pointing at the Colombian actress in the crowd.

The playful rivalry between the two actresses has grown over recent years.

Last year, Vergara lost her Emmy nomination for Griselda to Foster, who won for the same role in True Detective: Night Country.
