Sophie Turner is Leading Her Best Life With Her ‘Angel Pie’ Beau Post-Divorce From Joe Jonas

Sophie Turner seems to be truly living her best life after her split from Joe Jonas, given her sweet Instagram tribute to her post-divorce beau, Peregrine Pearson. The Game of Thrones alum shared photos celebrating Pearson’s 30th birthday, affectionately referring to the British aristocrat as her “Angel Pie,” accompanied by snapshots of their scenic, romantic escapades over the past year.

“Happy Birthday my angel pie 🥧 🎉 30, flirty and thriving 🎈,” she captioned a carousel post featuring snaps of the two kissing, about to take off on a hot air ballon adventure, and hitting the ski slopes. 

Pearson, the heir to the Cowdray Estate, and Turner first sparked relationship rumors in when they were spotted kissing on the streets of Paris in October 2023, just a month after Turner and Jonas announced their separation. The two reportedly met through mutual friends and have attended public events like polo matches and fashion shows together since making their official public debut in February attending Stanley Zhu’s Year of the Dragon celebration together at Dixie Queen in London.

Just because Turner and Pearson started dating relatively quickly following the divorce announcement doesn’t mean it’s been an amicable or easy divorce. Jonas filed for divorce on Sept. 5, 2023, citing an “irretrievably broken” marriage. A day later, the two released a joint statement, saying the split was amicable. Lifestyle differences allegedly played a massive role in the split, with Jonas preferring to stay home and Turner enjoying time out exploring, as evidenced by her latest snapshots celebrating Pearson.

But the amicability didn’t last long, as three weeks later, Turner sued Jonas, accusing him of keeping their kids in the U.S. despite previous plans to move them to England. Turner also battled her own “party girl” rumors throughout the ordeal, and turned to her friend Taylor Swift when she needed a place to stay as she figured out child custody. 

After a lot of back and forth in the drawn-out divorce, the two finally reached a settlement in Sept. 2024, which the details of have been kept private. A month after closing the tumultuous chapter of her love life, it seems that Turner is finally able to breathe and enjoy her romance to the fullest.
