Shep Rose revealed a “spoiler alert” update on where Craig Conover stands with Austen Kroll amid their season 10 feud. The Southern Charm star also addressed if they concocted their drama for the show.
In the current season, Austen confronted Craig about not being available as a friend. Craig got mad and refused to invite Austen to his next party. Things seemed to get worse in the next episode, according to a trailer that suggests that Craig asked Austen to sell his rights to their Pillows and Beer podcast.
Meanwhile, Shep also entered the mess as he gossiped about his friend Craig during Patricia Altschul’s birthday party, which Craig wasn’t invited to.
A few days ago, the fan account @twojudgeygirls posed the question, “Do we think [Craig, Austen, and Shep] can mend their friendship and come back together? Or will it never be the same?”
Shep answered in the comments.
“A little spoiler alert…” he wrote, via @queensofbravo on Instagram. “We had dinner together 3 nights ago and couldn’t stop laughing.”
Another fan speculated that their drama was “made for TV.”
“No. Not true,” Shep clapped back. “There was definitely a right and tension. But our history together is just way too powerful and amusing.”
Of course, this wasn’t Austen and Craig’s first fight. Back in 2022, an argument actually turned physical in a parking lot, as shown in the season eight trailer.
At the time, Austen addressed it in an Entertainment Tonight interview.
“Craig and I fight like brothers,” he said. “It’s certainly not the first time that we’ve come to that, but brothers will wrestle — they don’t fist fight — so we’re not fist fighting. You’ll see. It was after a particularly boozy dinner, and Craig was looking for it.”
Before the fight, Craig (on camera) had informed Austen of his ex Madison LeCroy’s engagement.
“I feel like Craig wanted me to have a meltdown [that night]. That’s a strange reaction to want someone to have, right?” Austen asked. “I find out things that other people knew that I didn’t know, that normally he would tell me.”
New episodes of Southern Charm air on Thursday nights on Bravo.
