'Special': Delta Goodrem reflects on the 20th anniversary of second album

Delta Goodrem is an Australian treasure.

The former Neighbours star has carved out a successful career in music and this year is celebrating a milestone 20th anniversary of her hit second album, Mistaken Identity.

Speaking to 9honey Celebrity at the Australian Wicked premiere in Sydney on Sunday, Goodrem, 39, reflected on the milestone and says she recently listened to the album in full and found the experience quite "special".

"I've got some ideas, I listened to the album for the first time in ages from start to finish," Delta says.

"I had all these discoveries. You go back to the songs and you hear the lyrics from a different point of view.

"It's really special to dive into where you're at exactly in that moment. It's an intense record."

Goodrem also spoke about supporting the iconic Shania Twain on tour in the UK and Ireland earlier this year.

"It was amazing and I had the time of my life," Goodrem says.

"I got my cowgirl hat out and I got out on those stages and there was 20,000-30,000 people there, and I was ready for a great night."

Goodrem walked the yellow brick road-themed red carpet at the Wicked premiere alongside Aussie fashion designer Camilla Franks, with both wearing outfits by her label.

Franks designed a capsule collection based on the film.

"I'm wearing Elphaba [an Elphaba-inspired print], an exploration to a land of the Emerald City," Franks tells 9honey.

"I could have designed a whole collection, the fact I was limited to three but once you all see this film you're just immersed into this wonderful world they've created," she says.

"To see their vision come to life, just you wait, it's a visual feast!"
