Spotify for Podcasters has changed its name to Spotify for Creators and introduced a new partner program that enables users to make money off of their video podcasts. The change comes after an 88% increase in the consumption of video podcasts over the previous year, according to a fan survey. Additionally, the app adds functionality for podcast clips and new custom video thumbnails. Users can now use the updated Spotify for Creators app, which aims to increase audience size and enhance statistics.
As a result of the 88% rise in video podcast consumption over the previous 12 months, Spotify for Podcasters has transformed into Spotify for Creators. Whether in audio, video, or both formats, this new feature attempts to provide creators with the tools they need to grow, monetize, and manage their shows. To help artists thrive on the platform, regardless of the kind of program they produce, Spotify has introduced additional capabilities.

Additionally, Spotify gives podcast listeners additional options for finding stuff.
With the introduction of new capabilities for creators, eligible video podcasters may now offer their greatest work to Premium customers, who will be able to see it ad-free. In order to encourage audience growth and retention, Spotify will pay creators according to actual engagement. Most video podcasters should see an increase in revenue as a result of this change.
