Your hair can really take a battering in winter, with cold weather, dehydrating central heating and regular wearing of woolly hats leaving it looking and feeling dry, frizzy or dull. Luckily there's a new product launch that may offer a solution.

REHAB – the haircare brand known for its innovative hair oil capsules, and loved so much by Stacey Solomon that she came on board as a business partner – has just launched its new Dose 2.0 High Gloss Finishing Oil, a lightweight oil designed to be applied at the end of your styling to lock in your look and delivery a high-shine finish. Usually priced at £26 for 30 single-dose capsules, they're available with 20% off for a limited time, meaning you can currently try them for £20.80.

The formula is made with grapeseed oil, argan oil, squalene and glycerin to deliver nourishment and shine without any greasiness, and each little pod contains the exact right amount for your lengths. According to REHAB, the High Gloss Finishing Oil 'boosts moisture, reduces frizz, protects against breakage and enhances slip for a silky, glossy finish'.

Use once your hair's dry and you've finished styling; twist open the pod, rub the oil between your hands, then smooth over lengths to tame frizz and give a glossy, salon-worthy 'do.

These nifty pods also get extra bonus points for being biodegradable; once you've used it, simply drop it into hot water and watch it dissolve.

Stacey's hairstylist Sami Knight recently shared exactly how he created the mum-of-five's voluminous blow dry look using REHAB products on her recent trip to Las Vegas, where she attended one of Adele's smash hit residency shows:

  • Begin by brushing through Stacey’s hair with REHAB. Vital Hair Brush (£12.80, was £16).

  • Lightly dampen the hair and prep using the Dose 1.0 Hair Oil (£20.80, was £26). This oil locks in moisture and smoothness and preps the hair for your blow dry.

  • Blow dry the hair using a round brush, applying tension to create volume from the root.

  • Set the blow dry by putting the hair in REHAB.’s new Heatless Blow Dry Rods (£30.40, was £38). These rods create a flexible semi circle for the hair to sit on top of the head making your bouncy blow dry last from day to night.

  • Release the rods and apply REHAB.’s new High Shine Dose 2.0 Finishing Oil (£20.80, was £26) through the ends of the hair. This creates a mirror-like shine and gives that glossy post-salon finish.

  • Top tip: Use REHAB.s Hair Tamer (£16, was £20) to smooth any flyaways or lay down baby hairs. Applied to Stacey’s hair for her final look and to set in place.

After some alternatives? Our beauty editor Laura Mulley loves Kérastase Elixir Ultime Hair Oil L'Huile Originale, now £24.75, for smoothing and sealing ends without weighing hair down.

Moroccanoil Treatment Original is also another cult classic, and slightly cheaper at £14.45 from Amazon.
