As we venture further into the New Year, it might be time for a January refresh or tidy-up if you haven't already tackled it. Stacey Solomon, the queen of organisation, has recently shared her clever way of storing trousers to maximise wardrobe space.
In her Instagram story, part of her January refresh series, the presenter demonstrated a range of smart ways to organise household items, including the use of tiered trouser hangers. While she didn't name the exact brand she uses, similar hangers are widely available in most shops, including Amazon.
A 3-pack of Space Saving S-Type Trousers Hangers can be snapped up for £10.99 here. For larger families, a 10-pack is on offer for £28.99 here.
Each hanger can hold up to five pairs, meaning you could potentially store 50 pairs of jeans, trousers, or skirts. We've also found similar hangers available for click-and-collect from Argos here.
They are currently reduced from £7.50 to £5 for a pack of two. Solomon praised this seemingly simple hack as a 'game-changer', claiming it freed up half of her wardrobe space, reports Bristol Live.
If you, your partner, or your kids have a surplus of trousers, whether for work or school, these s-shaped hangers could be an essential addition to your home organisation.
If you're looking to further streamline your wardrobe, Solomon recommends sorting your trousers based on their purpose. She uses separate hangers for formal and casual trousers.
You could even expand this system to include work trousers, school trousers, jeans, and skirts. This isn't the first time we've marvelled at the presenter's organisational tips.
As part of her January reset series, she also shared a nifty trick to stop underwear and socks from getting tangled up, using a plastic shopping bag holder. If you're planning a winter sun getaway, you might want to adopt some of Stacey's clever packing hacks.
Using over-the-door shoe storage organisers (like this one currently available on Amazon for £10.99), Stacey organises her kids' outfits, assigning each compartment to a different outfit for each day. The best bit?
There's no need to unpack when you reach your holiday spot. Simply unroll the organiser and hang it over a door or coat hook.
