Stacey Solomon shares 'rare' Joe Swash update after he left family home 'for weeks'

Stacey Solomon has been reunited with her husband, former EastEnders star Joe Swash, after he left their Pickle Cottage home behind "for weeks". The celebrity couple and their children enjoyed a festive day out as the Loose Women star gushed over her other half.

Taking to Instagram Stories, the mum-of-five wrote: "Picked the tree for 2024... and got a rare day with daddy since he's been rehearsing for panto."

In a post on her Instagram grid, she expanded, writing: "We picked our Christmas tree today. One of our favourite days of the year… And we finally got daddy back for a day!

"He’s been in Panto rehearsing for the last couple of weeks, we’ve missed him. Happy December everyone… lots of love from us!"

With the caption, she shared a number of smiley pictures of the family enjoying some time together amid their busy schedules. The couple posed alongside their three shared children - Rex, Rose and Belle - as they appeared to be in co-ordinating white and grey outfits, surrounded by endless rows of fir trees.

Fans flooded the comments with supportive words as they gushed over the loveable family. One user wrote: " Aww amazing family day xxx," with another commenting: "Aw gorgeous family pics."

Someone else said: "Happy tree day and have a fabulous December ahead. Love these photos." Meanwhile a fourth simply penned: "Oh how wholesome," followed by a red loveheart emoji.

The reunion comes following reports a few weeks ago that Joe and Stacey had been "rowing in the street" before the Sort Your Life Out star jetted off to Vegas on a star-studded PR trip.

They reportedly had a heated row before storming off in separate directions, but now Joe has shared a snap of himself and three of the kids posing at the airport with a sign welcoming her back home. He admitted he'd "messed up" - but not in the way viewers might think.

Instead of referencing the row, Joe apologised for accidentally labelling Stacey a "nun" on the sign, rather than a "mum" to their brood.

The colourful sign, decorated with hearts, read: "Love U Nun", but despite the blunder - and getting jokingly called out by Stacey for it, as she vowed she'd "convert" - Joe rationalised that the kids had been totally oblivious.

He wrote on Instagram: "The kids were super excited 2 show mummy the welcome home board they made!! (Even tho I messed up the Ms! The kids didn’t know a thing) We all miss her so much! Just ain't the same without you @staceysolomon xxxxxx."
