Stephen Curry was seen walking over and dapping Drake prior to Monday's game between the Warriors and Raptors at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
After embracing each other, Curry briefly put his arm around Drizzy and the two spoke for a little while.
While showing off a view from courtside, Drake also posted a video of the game’s commentators, with a message mentioning the Raptors and asking about a headphone ban. "@raptors, how long is my headphone ban? I was born to commentate,' he wrote."
Their meeting comes after Kendrick Lamar advised the likes of LeBron James and Curry to "keep the family away" on "Meet the Grahams." LeBron and the Toronto rapper have been noticeably distant since the song surfaced, leading to speculation that Drake's freestyle "Fighting Irish" is about the downfall of their friendship.
James attended The Pop Out: Ken & Friends in Los Angeles last year, raising suspicion that the Lakers star sided with Lamar.
Curry voiced his support for Drake in the midst of his feud with Kendrick in an interview with GQ.
"I'm a big Drake guy. I've been for a long time," he said. "I think obviously you know what it is for the rap industry to have that, but I still rock with Drake. Absolutely. Absolutely."
Back in 2019, the NBA reportedly discussed Drake's courtside behavior with the Raptors during the Eastern Conference Finals. In 2013, the Toronto star was named global brand ambassador of the Raptors.
