'Stressed' TV star spends all her money on docs who say she may have 'facial parasite'

Brandi Glanville had a tumultuous time before, during, and now after her Real Housewives fame. The ex RHOBH star’s most recent health scare may just take the biscuit, though. She says she potentially has a “parasite living in her face.”

Former Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville has been in and out of the hospital for the past year. She takes to social media this week to share new images showing how she’s experiencing facial disfigurement. Brandi shares details on her health journey, adding how she’s spent “all her money” on trying to work out what is going on.

Brandi Glanville’s face swelled to a point she couldn’t speak

Last year, Brandi says she “lost her ability to speak.”

Her face swelled, and “began sinking in.” Now, she says she’s still “raw” as she battles more health woes.

“I’m like touching it, and the more I touch one area, it jumps to the other side,” she explains in an interview with ET this December.

Brandi continues: “No joke. I have her on video… it’s legit.”

Pointing to different areas of her face, she tells Brice Sander: “It lives right here and right here.”

Speaking of being “diagnosed with having a parasite living in her face,” Brandi says she’s been to an “immunologist, an infectious disease doctor, a rheumatologist, and an ENT.”

“They sent me to have my face checked, maybe old filler… I’ve been to every doctor under the sun. I’ve had IV antibiotics at my house every day for six weeks. I’ve been on meds this whole year,” she adds.

Brandi heartbreakingly continues to say how she now “doesn’t socialize or go out.”

Countless trips to the doctor cost Brandi ‘all her money’

It’s clear to see Brandi’s life has been drastically affected by her health issues.

The former RHOBH star says she’s been “spending all of her money on trying to figure out what’s wrong” with her.

Putting an estimated figure on just how much she’s spent, Brandi says: “Over $70,000… I mean, my savings are… with not working as well for the past two years, it’s been, I’m stressed…”

She’s been in and out of the doctor’s office countless times over the past year and says she spent $10,000 on lab work to get “every test under the sun.”

RHOBH ladies are known for being some of the wealthiest across the franchise, but Brandi sadly says she’s had to turn down a lot of jobs over the past two years.

The ex Bravo star said she was spending $2,000 per week on antibiotic treatment which did help her to “look normal.” But she couldn’t continue longer than six weeks with it being that expensive.

Still, no one is able to give Brandi a specific answer to her health concerns. She tells the cameras: “It could be a new parasite.”

She says her symptoms came on six months after a trip to Morocco. Issues with her facial swelling began in July, and she’s still trying to figure out what’s happening now.
