Strictly's Tasha Ghouri breaks silence on Giovanni Pernice fling in brutal four-word reply

Tasha Ghouri has firmly dismissed any further discussion into her previous fling with ex-Strictly professional Giovanni Pernice, delivering a sharp four-word rebuttal.

In a candid chat with Blanca Schofield of the Sunday Times, the Strictly Come Dancing sensation was pressed on her fleeting liaison with the 2021 champion, which took place before her Love Island adventure.

This inquiry emerges amidst the backdrop of Giovanni's former colleague, Amanda Abbington, accusing him of bullying this year, sparking a BBC probe and his eventual departure from the show.

Although the BBC cleared Pernice on ten out of 16 allegations, six claims were upheld. Reports suggest Tasha had secret dates with the dancer after his victory with Rose Ayling-Ellis, the programme's first deaf contestant.

When probed by Blanca about the dalliance, Tasha, who is also deaf, deflected the question, tersely referring to Giovanni as "somebody from years ago".

It has been previously mentioned that Pernice and Tasha exchanged follows on Instagram, engaged in private conversations, met in 2022, and subsequently went on dates.

An insider close to Tasha told MailOnline that he showed "persistent" interest in her, noting their shared connection as dancers and Pernice's insights into the deaf community through his partnership with Rose.

The source further revealed that Tasha was "impressed by how gentlemanly he was", with Giovanni taking the former Love Island star to London eateries.

They claimed: "Their romance didn't progress because Giovanni was travelling a lot with the Strictly tour and Tasha was already involved with someone else."

It emerged last month that Tasha, who is in a relationship with her Love Island beau Andrew Le Page, has since moved in with him.

The couple have also adopted a dog and got matching tattoos. Moreover, they became property owners and marked their second anniversary this summer.

On the other hand, Pernice is thought to be single following a rumoured break up with model Molly Brown earlier this year.

He has been previously linked to Maura Higgins, Georgia May-Foote, Pussycat Doll Ashley Roberts, and fellow Strictly professional Jowita Pryzstal, according to Metro.
