The owner of the studio reportedly told Mail Online that the influencer was set to have a 'full back tattoo done' with the studio 'under general anaesthetic, sedation and intubation'.
The studio says it 'hired a private hospital with all the staff, equipment and anaesthetic drugs necessary for the safety of the procedure' alongside hiring 'a doctor with a specialism in anaesthesiology and experience in intubation, whose documentation was approved by the hospital'.
"Blood tests were requested beforehand, which showed no explicit risk in carrying out the procedure. Ricardo signed the consent form regarding the risk of the procedure," the statement added.
The owner says Godoi 'went into cardiac arrest' 'at the beginning of the sedation and intubation' and 'that occurred before they even started tattooing him'.
The owner resolved: "He was quickly checked and a cardiologist was called in to try to revive him, unfortunately without success."

One Instagram user said: "I can't believe it until now, but his stories with his kids yesterday at the pool, the situation is too punk."
"Doesn't seem real... Rest in peace to my brother! Much strength to the family!" another added.
