Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce once spent a night partying with star tennis player Frances Tiafoe.
Tiafoe, 26, who appeared on the Tuesday, January 7 episode of The Pivot podcast, chatted with NFL alums Ryan Clark, Fred Taylor, and Channing Crowder about his time hanging out with the famous couple — and some of Kelce's teammates.
"I've said it in real time, whoever I'm with, like, 'Yo, I'm out here taking shots with Taylor Swift,'" Tiafoe said. "Granted, I gotta keep it a buck, we're here on The Pivot — I'm a Beyoncé guy. But at the moment I'm like, man, like, this is crazy, she's the biggest star out here."
"Then Travis and [Patrick] Mahomes they were like 'Yo, we gotta have you in [Kansas City],' " he added. "Them saying that is wild to me, that they would roll out the red carpet for me. It's crazy because playing tennis and being able to reach that many people and people want to meet me and hang out and actually do stuff, those are the things, it's why you do what you do."
Although Tiafoe didn't specify when he went out on the town with Swift and Kelce, both 35, the tennis star did attend the Kansas City Chiefs home game against the Denver Broncos on November 10, 2024.
At the time, Tiafoe was joined by his girlfriend Ayan Broomfield. She posted a TikTok of her time at the football game, which included a clip of Tiafoe, Swift, and Kelce, all posing for a sweet group selfie. Swift, who was the one capturing the moment, stuck her tongue out toward the end of the clip. Later in the video, they all took a standing group photo.
Over the past few years, Tiafoe has been a rising presence in the tennis world. In 2022, he eliminated 22-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal from the U.S. Open, which he cited on the podcast as a significant turn in his career. "When I checked into the hotel, that day they were like, 'Oh, are you here to watch the U.S. Open?'" Tiafoe said.
He is also currently ranked No. 17 in the Association of Tennis Professionals rankings, according to People.
