Taylor Swift knew what she was doing when she dropped her coveted Eras Tour Book on Black Friday. The craziest shopping day of the year is driving fans to Target to pick it up ahead of its availability online on Saturday, Nov. 30. Now that many Swifties have the highly anticipated book in their hands, some fans have a Travis Kelce complaint.
The 34-year-old pop star’s fans aren’t exactly thrilled that the Kansas City Chiefs athlete’s onstage appearance in London wasn’t included in the book. “Im surprised Travis’ performance on stage is not in the book unless it happened too late,” one account noted on X. It’s understandable that Swift’s followers would want that highlight of the tour shown in the book, but other Swifties weighed in with their opposing thoughts.

One fan reminded everyone that it was Swift’s tour and not a part of Kelce’s career. They wrote, “i am seeing people disappointed with the fact that travis is not in the eras tour book… now why tf would travis kelce make an appearance in the eras tour book please bffr i can’t with yall.” Another account agreed, “They’re so annoying like can we celebrate her career for a sec pls 😭.” They make a strong point — the book is about honoring the hard work she put in over the last 18 months and she deserves that time to shine.
Kelce surprised the London audiences in June when he stepped onstage for the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” transition in the show. His top-hat-and-tails moment charmed the concertgoers which he later revealed was his idea on his New Heights podcast with brother Jason Kelce. “I initially mentioned it to Tay,” he said on the July 3 episode. “I was like, ‘How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 era.'”
The NFL star gushed about it being an “honor” to work alongside “a true showman” like Swift, but he also found out how big her job actually is.
“When everyone [in the crowd] found out that it was me — because it took a second for everyone to figure it out — that moment was pretty jarring,” Kelce admitted. “I was just like, ‘Oh s**t.’ And you don’t realize how big that damn stage is. It is easily as big as a football stadium … it’s way bigger than I could have ever imagined.”
Still, Swifties should be looking for the Easter eggs in the book that are nods to her boyfriend. [Spoiler Alert] According to Page Six, fans can see photos of “the “Swag Surfin’” dance or archer pose she does during “So High School,” the track off The Tortured Poets Department album that is dedicated to the NFL star.”
So, let Swift have her moment in the spotlight. The couple is so supportive of each other’s endeavors that we highly doubt Kelce is upset that his cameo didn’t make it in her Eras Tour Book.
