Tecno Phantom V Fold 2, Phantom V Flip 2, most affordable foldable phones launched in India

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Tecno today launched its much-awaited foldable Phantom V2 Series in the Indian market. It is the most affordable foldable smartphone series in the country that includes two models Tecno Phantom V Fold 2, and Phantom V Flip 2. Both the phones are powered by MediaTek chipsets and FHD+ AMOLED displays.

Tecno Phantom V2 Series price in India, sale details

The price of the Phantom V Fold 2 is set at Rs 79,999. The device will be available in a single 12GB RAM with 256GB storage model. It comes in two colour options Karst Green and Rippling Blue.

The Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 on the other hand is priced at Rs 34,999 for the lone 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. The phone will be offered in Travertine Green and Moondust Grey colourways.

Note that this is an introductory price which will be available for a limited period.
Both devices will be available for purchase starting December 13 on Amazon.

Tecno Phantom V2 Series specifications, features

The Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 has two displays: a 6.42-inch FHD+ AMOLED cover panel and a 7.85-inch 2K+ AMOLED core display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It panel is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and aerospace-grade hinges they’ve been tested more than 400,000 times.

A 3.64-inch AMOLED cover display and a 6.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED LTPO main display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz are features of the Tecno Phantom V Flip 2. It also has an aerospace-grade hinge and Corning Gorilla Glass 8 protection.

In terms of cameras, the Fold 2 include a 1/3-inch 50MP primary camera, a 50MP Ultra-Wide camera with 2x optical zoom and dual 32MP cameras for taking selfies. Whereas, the Tecno Phantom V Flip 2 has a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens and and 32MP selfie camera.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold 2 comes equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset, whereas the Flip 2 is powered by Dimensity 8020 SoC.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold has a 5,700mAh battery that supports 15W wireless charging and 70W fast charging. The Tecno Flip 2 lacks wireless charging technology but has a 4,720mAh battery with the same charging speed.

The Phantom V Fold 2 comes with advanced AI features, including Image Cutout and Circle-to-Search, which enhance creativity and multitasking.
