TEEN Mom stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have finally found a buyer for their Octagon-shaped Michigan home nearly a year after the property was at risk of foreclosure.
Catelynn, 32, and Tyler, 33, purchased the house back in May 2017 for $220,000.
After listing their former family home for $454,900 in September 2023, the couple struggled to sell the property, as it was at risk of foreclosure at one point.
Now, The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal Catelynn and Tyler have finally found a buyer for the home.
According to real estate records, the three-bedroom, three-bathroom house is listed as “under contract,” meaning an offer has been accepted, but the sale is not yet finalized.
After listing the home on the market in September 2023, they dropped the price down to $449,900 in December of that same year.
After a year of no buyers, they took the home off the market on September 1, 2024.
The couple re-listed the home on December 26, 2024, dropping the price down to $425,000.
A real estate listing for the 2,626 square-foot house that sits on 15 acres of land reads, “Built in 1869 by Great Lakes sea Captain George W Smith! This home has been completely updated while preserving its historical integrity.”
“Updated kitchen and fully remodeled bathrooms, Butler's pantry, 2626 ft, newer pool, park-like setting yard, gorgeous, wraparound porch... The list goes on and on!”
The home has been featured on episodes of Teen Mom.

PRE-FORECLOSURE
The sale comes nearly a year after a Certificate of Forfeiture of Real Property was filed in March 2024 by the Michigan Register of Deeds.
The home was at risk of foreclosure if the couple did not pay the amount of $5,007.72 in delinquent taxes due on March 31, 2025.
Court documents read, “On March 1, 2024, the following real property was forfeited to the Sanilac County Treasurer for non-payment of property taxes for the year 2022.
“If the 2022 taxes are not paid by March 31, 2025, absolute title to the property and any equity associated with an interest in the property will vest in the foreclosing governmental unit.
“If the property is not redeemed and is foreclosed and sold or transferred, a person with an interest in the property at the time of judgment of foreclosure may claim that person’s interest in any remaining proceeds.”
The U.S. Sun reported the full amount of $5,297 was paid off on August 2, 2024.
MOVING ON?
Catelynn and Tyler now live in a $435,000 four-bedroom, four-bathroom mansion in Michigan.
According to property records, the house is 4,296 square feet and sits on six acres of land.
The property features a barn, cabin and pond.
MONEY ISSUES
This isn’t the first time Catelynn and Tyler have had apparent financial trouble.
The MTV stars were hit with a federal tax lien on December 16, 2019, for $321,789.06.
The lien for the 2018 year was paid off in early 2023.
Catelynn and Tyler were also slapped with a federal tax lien for $535,010.97 for 2016 and 2017, which was paid off in 2021.
