Just weeks after pop superstar Olivia Rodrigo fell through a trap door on stage during her show in Melbourne, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has suffered the same fate.
Performing his fourth and final show in Melbourne, Martin was walking down the stage chatting to the audience between songs, when he stepped and fell into a hole.
The Fix You singer was walking backwards as he read out fans signs, then when he stepped into the hole, gasps rang out through the audience.

Luckily, she managed to catch herself and climb out, seemingly uninjured, reassuring fans, "Oh my god! That was fun, I'm OK! Sometimes there is just a hole in the stage, OK... where was I?"
She recently addressed the incident on an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
"Watching the video back is pretty terrifying," she said. "I mean, the show must go on. That's showbiz, baby."
"I went to the hospital after," she added. "Nothing happened but they just wanted to make sure I didn't have a concussion."
