The 7 Little Johnstons are back for season 15 and the family has grown since fans last saw them on their TV screens.
Who Is on the Cast for ‘7 Little Johnstons’ Season 15?
7 Little Johnstons follows the lives of Trent and Amber Johnston as they raise their children Liz, Jonah, Anna, Alex and Emma in Georgia. All of the family members have dwarfism.
Making her debut, Liz and her boyfriend Brice Bolden’s baby girl, Leighton Drew, will appear for the first time after they revealed they were expecting their first child during season 14.
“The wait is finally over! We’re excited to introduce our baby to the world,” Liz and Brice told People, revealing they welcomed the new addition on November 3, 2023. One year later, the pair shared a 1st birthday tribute to their little girl.
“Our Leighton Drew is ONE. We love you so much leighty-bug, baby girl, butter bean, you’ve made this year one that your Daddy and I will never forget. We love being your parents and are so blessed to call you ours. We can’t wait to see what the years ahead bring!” Liz and Brice wrote next to a photo of Leighton with her cake.
What Will Happen During Season 15 of ‘7 Little Johnstons’?
Liz and Brice are in full parent mode after welcoming their first child together last season. “Baby Leighton came into the world and now our little family is even bigger,” the new mom gushed as members of her family struggled to change the newborn’s diaper. However, tension appeared to be growing within the new dynamic, as Liz described living at home with her family as “stressful.”
In the trailer, Amber called Brice out for being “defensive” and getting upset, which prompted Liz to ask, “I wonder what it would be like if Brice and I were out of here.”
“The whole idea of ‘If we just moved out, everything would just magically be perfect, [nope],’” the matriarch said as she shook her head.
Meanwhile, things weren’t going so well for Trent as he told the cameras that several months back, he started to feel “vertigo symptoms” and “other types of dizzy spells.”
“I went to the doctor the other day, they told me that my brain at 47 [years old] is reduced drastically and it’s about the size for an 80/81-year-old,” the patriarch told his children.
There was some positive news this season as other members of the family were also marking major milestones, which included Trent and Amber observing their 25th wedding anniversary, Anna and Amber graduating from college, and Emma and Alex finishing high school.
However, when Anna skips Emma and Alex’s graduation ceremony, it causes “a lot of strain” within the family. Alex said he was “hurt” that she didn’t “show up.”
“Whatever I do is for sure not going to be enough,” Anna said in a private confessional.
The trailer ended with Anna storming off and leaving in the middle of a family outing. “Trent and I will never give up on our children,” Amber told producers alongside her husband. “Ever. But we don’t give in.”
