A former “The Bachelor” winner is engaged to her long-time boyfriend. Cassie Randolph ended Colton Underwood’s season in a relationship, but the two never got engaged. She has been dating musician Brighton Reinhardt since shortly after her relationship with Underwood ended, and now they are engaged.

Brighton Reinhardt Proposed to Cassie Randolph on the Beach

On November 28, Randolph shared a video of the proposal on her Instagram page. “A little extra thankful today,” she wrote in the caption.

Randolph talked to People about the engagement. She explained she was completely surprised by Reinhardt’s proposal.

She was near a favorite spot along the Newport Coast, taking a walk with family before dinner. When she got to the last cottage, near the cliffs, Reinhardt was waiting for her.

Randolph told People, “When Brighton dropped to a knee and asked ‘Will you marry me?’ as he opened the box, my reaction was immediately, ‘Oh my gosh, yes!'”

“I was completely caught off guard. I had no idea,” she admitted.

Reinhardt’s family was on the beach, hiding nearby, and both families celebrated after the engagement.

Randolph ‘Can’t Wait’ to Marry Reinhardt

Both families dined at a spot named A Crystal Cove after the proposal. Randolph couldn’t imagine a “more perfect and special evening,” she told People.

There was one thing she would have done differently, however. She quipped, “I wish I did my hair!”

People noted that Randolph’s ring is a “5.04 carat elongated cushion cut” diamond. Reinhardt designed the engagement ring, and Randolph’s sister helped.

As People shared, Randolph and Reinhardt first met several years before she joined “The Bachelor.” They were friends for years before the friendship turned romantic in 2020.

After the pair reconnected, “It was game over from there,” Randolph told People in December 2021.

“He’s honestly my best friend… I feel like we get each other on a different level, especially being friends for so long before. It just made it really natural and easy,” Randolph explained.

Randolph’s Instagram posts sharing her engagement news received hundreds of comments.

Bachelor Nation alums like Haley Ferguson, Jade Roper, Charity Lawson, and Tayshia Adams noted their excitement for Randolph.

“So happy for you! I watched you since bachelor and you have been so classy throughout it all. This is so well-deserved and so glad you found your person,” a fan wrote.

“You [have] been through so much and now you are getting your fairy tale ending,” commented another fan.

Someone else wrote, “I am soooo happy for you Cassie!! Your love together is so sweet!”
