The Game is urging the country to “hone in on” what’s happening in Southern California amid the ongoing deadly wildfires that have caused heartbreaking destruction in the region.

In an Instagram video on Sunday, Game, wearing a Pasadena Fire Department hat, told fans that he and his team had been on the ground offering “blankets, pillows, coffee, bananas, water, just anything we can bring” to firefighters.

“They’re doing big, amazing things here,” he said of firefighters in the area, adding that he and his team were also planning to assist in rescuing animals and transporting them to nearby shelters.

“It’s just a time where everybody needs everybody,” he said. “It’s one of those times in America where everybody needs to hone in on what’s going on here.”

In the caption of the video, seen above, the Compton-born The Documentary artist shared a message of support directed at those who have been impacted by the disaster.

“My heart goes out to each and every person directly affected, and those watching from all the world who are mentally in pieces over what has happened in my city,” he wrote. “I am here for Los Angeles and I will always be here to do my part.”

Game has also directed fans to various resources aimed at helping those in need, either from afar or locally. See more below.

In its most recent update as of this writing, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office reported 24 fire-related deaths were under investigation in the region. Monday, outgoing POTUS Joe Biden shared a statement referencing this number, saying he was “deeply saddened by the devastation” in Southern California.

“To the brave firefighters and first responders working day and night to suppress these fires and save lives: our nation is grateful,” Biden said. “You represent the best of America and we are in your debt.”
