"Please don’t ever compare that other pop star to Beyoncé ever again."
Beyoncé is taking the title of "greatest pop star of the 21st century" pretty serious.
On Dec. 25, everyone tuned into Netflix's streaming two NFL games: Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers, followed by the Baltimore Ravens vs. the Houston Texans. The Chiefs and Ravens won.
Despite losing the game, the Texans still had a reason to celebrate on Christmas.
Beyoncé, a Houston native, performed for her hometown during the half-time show dubbed the "Beyoncé Bowl" and had the internet in shambles.
Performing songs from her 2024 album Cowboy Carter for the first time, including her renditions of Dolly Parton's "Jolene" and The Beatles' "Blackbird," Beyoncé pulled out all the stops to deliver a live set that rivaled even the greatest Super Bowl halftime shows of all time.
The 14-minute live performance had a little something-something for die-hard Beyhive and fans of Cowboy Carter's rising country star features.
Singers Tierra Kennedy Tanner Addell, Brittney Spencer, and Reyna Roberts, featured on "BLACKBIRD," joined Beyoncé for a harmonious entrance onto the football field.
During the medley of the most upbeat tracks from her eighth studio, Beyoncé was joined by Shaboozey, who is featured on "SWEET ★ HONEY ★ BUCKIIN'" and Post Malone for a "LEVII JEANS" duet.
The moment that stole the night was a surprise cameo by Beyoncé's daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, who kept up with the entire ensemble, hitting the 8-count like nobody's business.
We've truly come a long way from Blue Ivy's first stage performance with her mom at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards...
...to the 2023 Renaissance World Tour...
... to now.
This year, Beyoncé was officially named the greatest pop star of the 21st century by Billboard, and honestly, I see the vision because that halftime show was ridiculous.
If you don't want to take my word for it, here's what the internet has to say about it:
Blue! Boozey! Brittney! Tiera! Tanner! Reyna! Post! Rodeo Queens! Black cowboys and cowgirls! Marching bands! Line dancing! Effective arrangement of the medley!
NO BUFFERING!!!!

It must be hard being a Beyonce hater. She’s been on your tv and in your ears since the Clinton administration. And just when you thought the door was closing, she comes with a trilogy of albums and tours and her daughter. pic.twitter.com/sp8voH9vm8

And finally, Beyoncé even had Tomi Lahren, who is infamously a problematic conservative internet personality, gagged. That's impact!
Can we stop with the faux outrage about Beyoncé? I’m not her biggest fan either, but she put on a good performance and she is immensely talented.
As conservatives, we don’t have to be outraged by everything, it’s a tired charade.
