As we prepare for the new year, we anticipate some of the fun that's to come. While we don't know if any of the following films and TV shows will be good, the buzz that surrounds them is large. From blockbuster movies to long-awaited conclusions to some pop culture moments, to new and exciting-looking TV shows, there's a lot to look forward to in the coming year. 

Next year will see the return of beloved TV shows like "Stranger Things," "Severance," and films like the awaited new "Superman," and a new "Fantastic Four" led by Pedro Pascal. Scroll down to learn more.

Guillermo del Toro's upcoming movie is "Frankenstein," a book that he's been dreaming of adapting for years. The project stars Oscar Isaac as Dr. Frankenstein and Jacob Elordi as the monster.

Severance, January 17 on Apple TV+

After a two-year wait, "Severance" is returning for a new season on January 17th.

Yellowjackets, February 16 on Showtime

The third season of "Yellowjackets" is back on February, with Hillary Swank signed on as one of the new lead characters.

Andor, April 22 on Disney+

Later this year, Andor is scheduled to return with a second season, with Diego Luna back on board.

The White Lotus, February 16 on Max

"The White Lotus" is also premiering a new season, this time, set in Thailand and starring actors like Carrie Coon, Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, and more. 

Stranger Things, on Netflix

"Stranger Things" is back with its final season, concluding the story of Eleven, Mike, and more. 

The Last of Us, on Max

"The Last of Us" is returning at some point next year, continuing the story of Joel and Ellie and introducing a new batch of characters.
