The question that haunts Jennifer Lopez since she divorced Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez is a successful woman, who is recognized everywhere she goes, who sells thousands of tickets for concerts, who has a wealth with which she knows she will support her family, but at the end of the day, she is still a person who cares about her children, with doubts and concerns.

Jennifer Lopez dazzles in diamonds but a 'classless' detail steals the show surprisinglyTikTok

JLo, one of the biggest figures in music today, has wondered if being a single mother is a good thing for her twins, Max and Emme.

The 55-year-old pop star spoke about raising her 16-year-old twins during an interview to promote her new film "Unstoppable", a sports drama based on the real-life story of wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg and made history when he won the 2011 NCAA National Championship.

In the film, JLo plays Anthony's mother, Judy Robles.

"I've been a single mother at times in my life and I've wondered 'Am I enough for them?'" she told Entertainment Weekly. "And the truth is, all you need is a parent who loves you.

"You hear it in Anthony's voice and look at what he's been able to accomplish," Lopez said of the wrestling champion.

The real Judy Robles' praise for JLo's performance

Anthony's mother, Judy Robles, praised JLo's performance, saying she was able to give her character the feelings she has had during her son's growth and the challenges he has faced.

"She (JLo) was really able to take on how I was feeling - the ups and downs. We long to be loved and we want to achieve what seems impossible to do, even when we see it and think 'I have to keep pushing', there is always a little hope," Judy told Entertainment Weekly.

Jennifer Lopez and her ex-husband Marc Anthony became parents to twins Max and Emme in 2008. The former couple married in 2004 and Anthony filed for divorce in 2012, until 2014 when their marriage was finally dissolved.

JLo's priority is her children's quality of life

During an appearance on "The Graham Norton Show" last month, Lopez spoke about canceling her "This Is Me... Live" tour in May to spend the summer with Max and Emme.

"I decided to take the summer off and be home with the kids and I think it was the best thing I've ever done in my life," Lopez said on the British show. "It's not like me to do that and when it comes up, I like to apologise to the fans because I know where a lot of them are coming from."

Lopez, who is in the midst of a divorce from husband Ben Affleck, also spent time this summer with Affleck's three children: Violet, 19; Serafina, 15; and Samuel, 12, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

In May, the "On The Floor" singer attended Violet's high school graduation party with Affleck, despite having split in April.

Although Affleck and JLo spent the summer apart, Violet visited her stepmother in the Hamptons in July.

The following month, Lopez was seen taking her stepson Samuel shopping in Los Angeles ahead of Affleck's birthday.

JLo and Affleck met with their children in September for lunch at the Beverly Hills Hotel, although the only one who could not attend was Violet, who had already begun her first fall semester at Yale University, The Post reported.
