The Real Housewives of London is coming to Hayu, the reality TV streamer of Comcast’s NBCUniversal that is available in 45 markets outside the U.S., in 2025, the service said on Saturday in unveiling its first-ever original series.

Produced by Monkey (Made in Chelsea), The Real Housewives of London will be “the next installment in the immensely popular franchise and will premiere on the service in late 2025,” it said. “The series will go into production in the first quarter [of] 2025, and casting is currently underway to find the perfect combination of personalities to showcase the glamour of living in the U.K.’s dynamic capital city.”

The news was announced at the first-ever Hayu FanFest held in London on Saturday. Among the stars that were featured at the event were The Real Housewives host and executive producer Andy Cohen, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Lisa Barlow, Southern Charm stars Craig Conover and Austen Kroll, Sutton Stracke (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills), Jessel Taank (The Real Housewives of New York City), and Below Deck‘s Captain Sandy Yawn, among others. Hayu FanFest’s onstage sessions will be made available for all Hayu subscribers in the coming week.

“Original content is something we’ve thought about,” London-based Hendrik McDermott, managing director — EMEA networks, Hayu & international direct-to-consumer at NBCUniversal, recently told The Hollywood Reporter. “It hasn’t been a feature of our strategy to date because we have access to a catalog of content, which is a treasure trove of very popular brands. But it is certainly something we are looking at.”

In an announcement on Saturday evening London time, he said: “Tonight’s announcement of The Real Housewives of London is Hayu’s first-ever commission of an original series and yet another key milestone in the growth story of our all-reality streaming service. It makes sense that such an iconic location in the U.K. – a core Hayu market – would feature into our strategy to further amplify our offering with original content that super-serves loyal fans. We look forward to being the exclusive home of this latest installment in the wildly popular The Real Housewives franchise.”

Added Helen Kruger Bratt, managing director of production firm Monkey. “Hayu is the ideal destination for this well-loved reality series and will give audiences direct access to all the drama of this new set of British housewives. This is the 30th international iteration of the iconic  Housewives format, and it’s safe to say, the audience will not be disappointed!”
