The producer of The Simpsons has revealed their 'best prediction' yet and the one that's yet to come to light.
The TV show has long been associated with predicting numerous big events, including the Hawk Tuah girl, a major music collab the UK’s cost of living crisis and most recently, the US 2024 election map.
And fans continue to be totally baffled by how the show manages to make such predictions, which The Simpsons showrunner, Al Jean, has previously addressed, and now even producer, David Mirkin, has weighed in on it.
Discussing the show's 'best prediction' he spoke about the moment The Simpsons predicted Donald Trump would become president.
Earlier this month, Trump won the 2024 US presidential election to become the 47th president of America.

Mirkin told The Post: “Yes, predicting Donald Trump would be president is still one of the funniest predictions we ever made.
“I think Lisa as president is a great one and I still believe that will happen, so that’s something everybody can look forward to!”
Back in 2000, the season 11 episode ‘Bart to the Future’ aired and eerily referenced Trump’s rise to power as the 45th US president.
The episode sees Lisa Simpson succeed him in office as she says: "We’ve inherited quite a budget crunch from President Trump."
Back in 2016, Dan Greaney, who was credited with writing the episode, said the joke had been intended as ‘a warning to America’.
Apparently, there's a simple explanation over why the predictions come true, with Mirkin adding: “You know, this is kind of a secret I don’t tell everybody but people ask, how do we do that, how do we predict... Various times in the writers room, time travelers appear, tell us things, just to put in the show and mess with people’s minds, and it works perfectly!”

Mirkin also explained why the show covers the big topics, such as politics.
“We always try and go after anything that’s important,” he added.
“Anything that people care about, there is a way to approach it with humour and compassion and empathy and incredible meanness all at the same time.
“Everybody always has their own ideas, everybody has their own opinions and it’s all completely valid, except people who don’t like the show — they are wrong!”
In a rather unsettling twist, Mirkin has also made another prediction, which he says hasn't happened yet.
He added: "I mean our next prediction is going to be the end of the earth, but you’ll see — it’s coming up!”
