Sara Haines knows her dad is hot, and she's not afraid to say it!
The host of The View, 47, brought up the subject on the Wednesday, January 22 episode of the beloved ABC talk show when discussing how Jack Schlossberg trolled the internet with a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) about Second Lady Usha Vance.
"True or false: Usha Vance is way hotter than Jackie O," Schlossberg, the 32-year-old grandson of Jackie Kennedy Onassis, wrote.
The post led Haines, Joy Behar, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Sunny Hostin to discuss whether they can assess the attractiveness of their relatives. When Behar, 82, mentioned that she had no way of knowing if her grandmother was hot, Haines disagreed. "Even when it's family, you have eyes, though," she said. "My dad's hot and I say it all the time."
Sara is the daughter of Dick and Sandy Haines, who she has featured as guests on the show's Behind The Table podcast.
Griffin, 35, agreed about Dick's attractiveness, stating, "Your dad is hot." Sarah continued by adding, "My dad's hot, he just is."
Sara wasn't the only one who acknowledged that they had a good-looking parent. Hostin said that she had a "hot dad" as well, and Sara was only too happy to agree with the statement before elaborating on how her friends felt about her father growing up.
"My friends, my whole life, talked about my hot dad. I'm not blind," she explained, although she then felt the need to clarify. "I'm not attracted to him, he's just hot. I can see him," she laughed. She even recalled a specific moment in which her father's hotness was put on display. She and a friend "were walking up to my yard and my dad was mowing the lawn and had no shirt on," the journalist remembered, adding that the friend said, "'Oh my God, who's mowing your lawn?' And I was like, 'That's my dad!'" Sara explained.
