The Vivienne's ex-husband David Ludford has shared a heartbreaking video of the former couple’s wedding dance. David shared the video to his Instagram story, which was originally posted by Lady Gaga tribute, Donna Marie.

In the video, Donna could be seen on stage singing the hit Lady Gaga song Always Remember Us This Way from the hit movie A Star Is Born. The couple slow danced and kissed before other guests joined the dance floor. The pair tied the knot in 2019 after meeting while on holiday in Gran Canaria, Spain, in 2017. However, two years after marriage the pair amicably called time on their relationship.

Earlier this week, David paid a heartfelt tribute to his ex partner where he shared a montage of photos from their six years together. "My heart literally sank when I got the call. Never in a million years did I ever think I'd ever be writing anything like this about James Lee Williams,” he penned.

"This man changed my life so much from the day we first met in August 2017 in Gran Canaria! ! We literally clicked straight away and we knew we was going to be together for along time! ! He made me feel love and shown me what it was really like to love someone."

David then explained he “wouldn’t have changed the time we spent together for anything." Continuing in the emotional tribute, he penned: "I'm so happy to say I not only met you but we were together, we were husbands and you were the biggest part of my life for such a long time. 6 years is such a long time to spend 24/7 with. You will always have a place in my heart. Going to miss you more than people will ever know. Sleep tight angel."

The Vivienne’s death was confirmed on Sunday and shared by publicist and pal Simon Jones. "It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved James Lee Williams - The Vivienne, has passed this weekend. James was an incredibly loved, warm-hearted and amazing person. Their family are heartbroken at the loss of their son, brother and uncle," Simon wrote.

"They are so proud of the wonderful things James achieved in their life and career. We will not be releasing any further details. We please ask that James's family are given the time and privacy they now need to process and grieve."

Concluding the emotional statement, Simon penned: "I'm so proud and lucky that Viv was such a big part of my life every day for the last 5 years. It's tragic that their career was only just beginning. In musical theatre Viv had found a space and career they loved, excelled and thrived in. I am heartbroken and devastated at this news. RIP my wonderful friend. You left us way too soon."

The Vivienne rose to fame in 2015 after becoming U.K. drag ambassador for the American TV series RuPaul's Drag Race, and won the first ever UK season in 2019. In January 2023, they became the first drag queen to appear on Dancing on Ice, partnered with American skater Colin Grafton. The new season of Dancing on Ice starts this Sunday, as the launch show will include a tribute to the star.
